About Halas Homes

Halas Homes - caring for people with learning disabilities Halas Homes started life as a specialist organisation for people with learning disabilities over fifty years ago. A group of local people, including parents of persons with learning disabilities, realised a vision to provide support for local children with learning disabilities.

Today, Halas Homes specialises in four distinct areas of expertise ranging from Respite Care, Residential Care, Day Activities
(The Meeting Place) and Supported Living. We are a well established locally recognised organisation which remains true to the original values and ethos of providing quality care for people with learning disabilities in Halesowen and the surrounding area.

Coffee Cups is our newest project which is a social enterprise. By supporting Coffee Cups you are helping to provide adults with learning disabilities the chance to take part in work based training. Any profit is put back into the coffee shop which then enables us to give more people the opportunity to gain skills in catering.
