About Halas Homes

Halas Homes - caring for people with learning disabilities Halas Homes started life as a specialist organisation for people with learning disabilities over fifty years ago. A group of local people, including parents of persons with learning disabilities, realised a vision to provide support for local children with learning disabilities.

Today, Halas Homes specialises in four distinct areas of expertise ranging from Respite Care, Residential Care, Day Activities
(The Meeting Place) and Supported Living. We are a well established locally recognised organisation which remains true to the original values and ethos of providing quality care for people with learning disabilities in Halesowen and the surrounding area.

Coffee Cups is our newest project which is a social enterprise. By supporting Coffee Cups you are helping to provide adults with learning disabilities the chance to take part in work based training. Any profit is put back into the coffee shop which then enables us to give more people the opportunity to gain skills in catering.

Bedding Plants

Halas Homes will be undertaking Community Projects at Coffee Cups in Thronhill Road and also outside St Johns Church in Halesowen. If anyone would like to donate any unwanted bedding plants please contact 0121 550 8778.

Charity Dance Show

Halas Homes's dance group Dance Unity will be performing in two charity show presented by the dancers of Hypa Dance on 24th April 2017.

Tickets are £5.00 each and are available from either Halas Homes on 0212 550 8778 or via Hypa Dance Company Facebook page.

Community Spirit

Community Spirit is an uplifting evening celebrating the best choirs and home grown talent in the West Midlands.
